We’re thrilled to announce the graduation of our very first cohort of Automotive Servicing trainees! From Oct 28 to Dec 6, this group of four individuals received hands-on training in essential automotive skills, preparing them for entry-level positions in the automotive industry. Congratulations to our graduates on this major milestone!
Our graduates are already entering the workforce and putting their skills to use. If you're an employer seeking skilled entry-level automotive technicians, reach out to partner with us to connect with our alumni.
"Both instructors put their heart into teaching me everything I needed to learn and apply, thus making an entry level mechanic. I enjoyed being taught both by Steven and Michael, they make a great team, and they showed me they wanted to invest their time and efforts into helping me acquire skills that make me a marketable individual in automotive technology.
The instructors as well as the organization invested their time and efforts, which revealed where their hearts are at. They have a heart to provide me with an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills I need to become the marketable individual I am today."
- Merle “Clay” E., Graduate
IWP partnered with the correctional facility in Grants, NM, to provide two weeks of heavy equipment training for incarcerated individuals. One week was spent with the female inmates, and one week with the males. Participants gained NCCER Core certifications and hands-on experience training on heavy machinery.
We are proud to equip these individuals with the skills and certifications needed to reenter the workforce and contribute meaningfully to their communities upon release.
Congratulations to the newest cohort of construction trainees! From September to December, twelve participants completed their training in construction fundamentals, heavy equipment, and advanced skills.
