6-Week Course Schedule:
MAY
AUG
OCT
For 6 weeks, our students work on real-world projects and in the classroom to gain exposure and training in a wide range of technical automotive servicing skills:
Over the 6 weeks, our students work are trained on essential non-technical skills which they can carry into any line of work:
"This class was enjoyable, and I learned more and expanded my knowledge. I enjoyed the class and appreciate the time taken out to teach us students. Steven was definitely a great teacher, and he would break steps down for us to be able to understand. Michael was a great teacher as well. They both put out time and effort to expand or teach us about the automotive industry. I want to thank Steven and Michael for being great friends and instructors. This class really expands and teaches you a lot more than you think. To be able to do hands-on training is a plus. If you know about automotive work already still take the class and let it expand your knowledge.”
“My instructor Steven Gerace is knowledgeable and was very understanding with my questions, and he was always available for any more questions and concerns on the subject of the automotive industry and vehicles and their engines. I enjoyed my time in the shop and classroom. As an individual with my background – I am learning through this place, accepting that I am simply not done with my education and learning. It doesn’t stop here and the Industrial Workforce Program helped me understand that. Ahe’hee’”
“Both instructors put their heart into teaching me everything I needed to learn and apply, thus making an entry level mechanic. I enjoyed being taught both by Steven and Michael, they make a great team, and they showed me they wanted to invest their time and efforts into helping me acquire skills that make me a marketable individual in automotive technology. The instructors as well as the organization invested their time and efforts, which revealed where their hearts are at. They have a heart to provide me with an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills I need to become the marketable individual I am today.”
